We’re on a mission.
I got the idea from working with my Dad. He’s an engineer… just not the computer kind. It seemed every couple months he would call me with a question about a bill, or junk mail, or some thing he thought might be related to his website. It was usually nothing.
Yet, three years in a row he disputed the charge from the hosting company and didn’t call me about that one. His site got turned off. Three years in a row.
Then there was the time he almost fell for a “Domain Registration of America” paper letter scam, generously offering to renew his domain registration for just $149.99 (In case you don’t know, domain registration should be about 15 bucks.)
So I made a rule: “If the bill doesn’t come from me, throw it out; AND if you have any problems, call me first.”
If regular WordPress sites require proactive maintenance, WooCommerce sites have even higher stakes and the maintenance is more complicated. .
We are on a mission to help WooCommerce store owners sleep like puppies.
Most store owners are probably doing most things to keep their site healthy and safe… it’s the things they miss that scare me.
Gordon Seirup, Co-Founder
woobetter was created by WordPress veteran, Gordon Seirup, in 2017. Gordon also founded Copper Leaf Creative, a specialty WordPress development agency in 2011.
In 2012, Gordon started to develop a product for Copper Leaf’s clients what would ultimately become it’s own company, Press Managed. He learned the hard way that most business owners were focused on running their businesses rather than their website updates – and that led to problems.
woobetter is a product of Press Managed.
As a WooCommerce store owner, you can run a far more successful business if you are able to focus on your business rather than getting bogged down in day-to-day technical maintenance and minutia.

Leah Ashley, Co-Founder
As usual, Leah is in charge. She’s been working with WordPress in one capacity or another since 2008 and has been in business management with an emphasis on keeping everyone happy, informed, and organized since 2003.
With a wicked OCD streak, Leah keeps all the ducks in a row – especially when they try to wander off. She is responsible for making sure we do what we say we’ll do.
Checklists are her thing.
Leah has been on the Organizing Team for WordCamp Denver since since 2015. While Gordon holds the title of “Lead Organizer” for WordCamp Denver 2017, anybody who knows anything knows Leah will be doing most of the detail work while Gordon acts as more of a “front man”.
